Just as God nourished the Israelites as they
wandered in the wilderness, we as His children must be fed daily from
His Word in order to stand firm and grow spiritually.
We have included two different styles of study materials that can act as
a basis for fellowship and growth between those inside and outside the
walls.
DAILY QUIET TIME SERIES
A series of 12 weekly lessons contains the basics of salvation,
assurance, and steps to growth. These can be sent to the BIP with
directions to fill them in each day, and then returned by mail each
week. This teaches consistency and keeps the BIP well connected to the
outside believer. By reading the Quiet Time, the brother/sister outside
can address questions or concerns that can be dealt with by letter or
during a telephone call.
SHARED BIBLE STUDY
The Shared Bible Study format allows BICs
and BIPs to study Bible verses together. The studies can be topical or
book studies completed at your own pace. In this plan each member reads
the same daily passage, answers three questions listed on the daily
study form provided by GAP, and at the end of the week returns them to
their study partner. It is a wonderful way to study and grow together.
It helps both parties experience spiritual growth and joins hearts
together around the Word of God.
